Your drawings and estimates stay with you

Kredna is a desktop app. Drawings, takeoffs, pricing and proposals live on your own computers and in your own project folders. They are never uploaded to our servers.

If your team shares job folders through Dropbox or OneDrive, those files move between your computers through the storage service you already chose, under your account with them. We don't sit in the middle.

Works offline

Takeoff, pricing, proposals and every export work with no internet connection. The app only goes online to sign in, refresh your license, check for updates, and run the optional AI features you choose to use.

Licensing that doesn't lock up your work

Each computer holds a signed license lease that it checks offline, with no call home needed to open an estimate. While the computer is online, the app refreshes its lease in the background every day.

If a computer stays offline, it keeps working for a 7-day grace period. After that the app goes read-only until it reconnects: your estimates stay readable and exportable, and nothing is ever deleted or lost.

Control over who has access

Your company administrator invites users, sets roles (administrator, estimator or viewer) and removes users from the dashboard. Each user can use the app on a limited number of computers.

If a laptop is lost or someone leaves, the administrator can remove that computer's access from the dashboard. The computer goes read-only at its next license refresh, and it can no longer use your company's AI credits.

Sign-in and passwords

Accounts and passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication, a widely used identity service. We don't store your password ourselves.

Payments

Subscriptions and AI credit purchases are processed by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your card number.

AI requests send only what the request needs

AI features are optional and only run when someone chooses to run them. Each request sends only what that request needs. Drafting a proposal sends the estimate's text, never drawings or prices. Scanning a drawing sends the image of the page you chose, with its text.

AI requests are processed to produce the answer and are not used to train AI models. Results come back as suggestions: nothing the AI suggests changes your estimate until you accept it.

Crash reports only with your permission

If the app crashes, a report is saved on your computer. At the next launch you're asked whether to send it, and you can choose always or never. Reports contain the app version, operating system and the error, with file paths and email addresses blanked out.

Every change saved as it happens

There is no save button. Every change is written to your computer the moment you make it, so a crash or power cut doesn't lose work, and the app reopens where you left off. Submitted revisions are locked as snapshots that can't be edited.
